Greetings from Verita Neuro Thailand. We hope you are staying safe and healthy during these trying times, and that you have a minute to spare for an exciting announcement…
Thanks to the decision this month by the Thai authorities — announced publicly by Dr. Tares Krassanairawiwong, director-general of the Department of Health Service Support — Thailand’s international borders are now open for medical tourists who would like to visit the country for treatment.
This of course includes spinal-cord patients interested in consultations, initial treatments, or follow-up treatments at Verita Neuro Thailand.
The decision was reached by a committee of government ministries, immunologists, and other medical experts, who have concluded that the COVID-19 situation here is “stable.” This is based largely on the fact that no local cases of infection were reported in the 40 days prior to the decision, and on Thailand’s overall outstanding performance in the face of the pandemic.
Guidelines for patients who wish to travel here for treatment include:
- Proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to their departure to Thailand
- Quarantine for 14 days in a state or private hospital upon their arrival in Thailand (the costs of which Verita Neuro is prepared to absorb for you)
Furthermore, patients “will be required to undergo three Covid-19 screenings while here — before, during, and after the course of the treatment.”
As for Verita Neuro’s Epidural Stimulation and other treatments, time slots are available on our August and September schedule. So now would be the right time to contact us for consultation and/or to arrange your medical-tourism Visa and 14-day quarantine.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information. Our staff of healthcare professionals look forward to welcoming you to Thailand soon!
Best Regards,
Your Verita Neuro Team
